Listing in the medium business segment on the Stuttgart stock exchange primarily targeted at private investors

Tuebingen, Germany, 19 February 2004
Starting today, shares from the Tuebingen-based transtec AG (WKN 724 142) will be traded in the Gate-M segment in the regulated market of the Baden Wuerttemberg stock exchange. The IT system manufacturer is one of the first five companies to be listed in the new segment for medium-sized businesses.

Gate-M primarily takes into account the information demands of private investors. transtec has committed itself to the requirements in “transparency class 1", which includes special publication duties. Company information, as well as real time share prices, are open to the public via the Stuttgart stock exchange’s online portal.

“We expect more attention with the Gate-M listing, mostly from value-oriented private investors,” states Dieter Weisshaar, CEO of the Swabian company. “Gate-M regulations will help to optimally fulfil their demand for information at minimum cost for medium-sized businesses.”
