transtec Releases BladeRack® Pro Based on Intel® Xeon™ Processor

transtec AG announces the release of the BladeRack® Pro, a complete solution based on an Intel® Xeon™ MP processor and Intel Server Compute Blades. BladeRack® Pro based on Intel Server Compute Blade SBX44 has been designed for data intensive applications that demand scalable performance and flexible solutions.
The BladeRack® Pro features a chassis, which can accommodate up to 14 dual Intel® Xeon™ processors or up to 7 quad Intel® Xeon™ processor-based blades. The chassis enables redundancy at almost any level – power supplies, blowers, management modules, and Ethernet/Fibre Channel switches – to meet availability and connectivity requirements for almost any environment.
The BladeRack® Pro integrates advanced management capabilities that include automated deployment, secure, lights-out administration, integrated KVM and a unified interface for managing processor blades and network switches. These tools help reduce the underlying complexity of today’s data centers and allow system administrators to realize significant productivity benefits, thereby lowering TCO.
An integrated tool simplifies and automates deployment. Using this software, administrators can provide dozens of server blades in one or more chassis in almost the same time it would take to provide a single blade manually.
