Too Hot to Handle Above 35°
Computer systems may “freeze” or lose data

Ambient temperatures above 35 degrees are extremely dangerous for computers. "Users will have to deal with disruptions if their PC does not have the proper type of cooling," says Jochen Müller, team leader at transtec’s internal test centre at the IT manufacturer’s headquarters in Tuebingen. Without efficient cooling, it is possible that systems will restart on their own, lose or damage data or even "freeze", according to Müller.

The business to be discussed was approval of reports of the management board and supervisory board for the financial year 2002, appointing Dr. Ebner, Dr. Stolz & Partner GmbH as the auditors and group auditors, authorizing the purchase of the company’s shares and amending § 3 and § 18 paras. 2 and 3 of the articles of association for adjustment to new regulations under the German Companies Act. All the resolutions were passed with a large majority.
